Food photography is paramount in portraying the desirability of your menu items. Professional food photography can heighten restaurant awareness as well as increase sales. Food photography can be the number one factor in a potential patron picking your restaurant over another.

With an already healthy split between in-house and delivery, Local West wanted to increase delivery sales. Cufflink Media took photos of Local West’s entire menu for use on social media and delivery apps.

American gastro pub food can often be considered heavy and manufactured. Our goal during the photo shoot was to counter this by capturing the freshness of the ingredients. Our second goal was to show off the modern yet comfortable feeling of the food. We shot the food in Local West’s dining room and surrounded the food with fresh, on-site vegetables. Great food can evoke a feeling and take you back to a familiar place.

We delivered over 100 finished photos of Local West’s main menu items for use in both print and digital.

Each chef we work with has his or her own way of creating their dishes. The key to a successful shoot is conveying that uniqueness through our photos. As they say, you eat with your eyes first!
